ABOUT
Mairead has been a licensed Speech Language Pathologist since 2006 and has an amazing ability to improve the speech and feeding skills of children with special needs by incorporating fun and creative playtime techniques. Each child is unique so treatment plans are developmentally based and tailored to meet a child's individual needs. Mairead's treatment approach integrates her professional training in ABA (Applied Behavorial Anaysis), AAC (Alternative and Augmentive Communication), PECS (Picture Exchange Communicaion Systems), DIR/Floortime, SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) and Oral Placement Therapy.
Mairead, a California native, lives in San Francisco with her wife and twin daughters, loves to travel, find new restaurants in the city and walk her dog, Stella, in Golden Gate Park. In her free time you can find her performing with the San Francisco Tsunami Synchronized swim team.
